The Family Tuscany Retreat
For one week at the start of summer, a private country estate in the hills of Tuscany is ours alone. A big pool for long afternoons, a private park to explore, and nowhere anyone has to be.
No packed lunches. No dishes. Nobody asking what's for dinner. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are made for you every day by our private chef, so the only thing left to decide is how to spend the day: cannonballs in the pool, a walk through the woods, or a day trip to Florence or Pisa.
Every family gets a whole two-bedroom apartment of its own, with a kitchen, a living room and its own front door, so naps and early bedtimes are easy.
The estate
An old villa and its farm buildings, scattered through a private park with paths to wander. Every apartment has its own kitchen and living room, and most open onto a patio or a shaded table outside.
Summer mornings start slowly here.
Early mist fills the valleys and burns off by breakfast, and in late June the light lingers until after 9 pm.
The table
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are taken care of, every single day. Our private chef cooks on site with seasonal ingredients grown right here on the estate. No menus to plan, no groceries, no dishes. Just come to the table hungry.
Fresh pastries are waiting every morning. Take your coffee out to the garden or down to the pool and let the day start slowly.
A long lunch with no clock on it, made from whatever is at its best that week.
We sit down together every evening as the light goes gold over the hills. Stay for one more round of dessert. Nobody is rushing you.
Kids and grown-ups get their hands in the flour together and learn to make fresh pasta the Tuscan way. You'll take the recipe home, and maybe the habit.
Beyond the Villa
Some days you'll want nothing more than the pool. Other days you'll want to see Tuscany from a hot air balloon or the back of a horse. Choose whatever calls to you, as much or as little as you like, and we'll arrange every detail. Your cooking class and walks are already included.
Tell us which experiences you'd love when you reserve. One, all of them, or none at all.
We book it all and fit it around meals, naps and your family portrait session.
Your itinerary is waiting when you arrive. There is nothing for you to organize.

Float over the hills of Chianti. In early summer the landscape below is a patchwork of green and gold.
Ride the quiet trails that run along the woods and fields, with stables in the villages close by.
Paths start right from the estate and wind through the woods and hills. Head out whenever the mood strikes.
Our week falls in summer truffle season. Walk the woods with a truffle hunter and his dogs and see what they turn up. Kids love it.
For the grown-ups: an afternoon tasting the wines of the surrounding hills.
Add-on experiences are priced separately and paid when you reserve them. Each provider sets its own age limits, and we'll tell you what fits your family. Change your mind before you travel? Just tell us and we'll adjust your plans.
Take the opportunity
