For one week in September, a private country estate in the hills of Tuscany is ours alone. Cypress and umbrella pines, a pool that catches the sunset, and nowhere you have to be.
No inbox. No schedule. Nobody asking what's for dinner. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are taken care of every day, so the only thing left to decide is how you want to spend it. Spend the whole week poolside with a book, or float over the vineyards in a hot air balloon and ride horseback through the hills. It's your week, at your pace.
Where you sleep is up to you, too. Take an apartment all to yourself, share one with the friends you came with, or book a room and meet everyone at dinner.

The estate
An old villa and its farm buildings, scattered through a private park with paths to wander. Every apartment has its own kitchen and living room, and most open onto a patio or a shaded table outside.
Mornings here start above the clouds.
In autumn the mist settles in the valleys around the estate and burns off by breakfast.
The table
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are taken care of, every single day. Our private chef cooks on site with seasonal ingredients grown right here on the estate. No menus to plan, no groceries, no dishes. Just come to the table hungry.
Fresh pastries are waiting every morning. Take your coffee out to the garden or down to the pool and let the day start slowly.
A long lunch with no clock on it, made from whatever is at its best that week.
We sit down together every evening as the light goes gold over the hills. Stay for one more glass. Nobody is rushing you.
Get your hands in the flour and learn to make fresh pasta the Tuscan way. You'll take the recipe home, and maybe the habit.
Beyond the Villa
Some days you'll want nothing more than a lounger and a good book. Other days you'll want to see Tuscany from a hot air balloon or the back of a horse. Choose whatever calls to you, as much or as little as you like, and we'll arrange every detail. Your cooking class and walks are already included.

Learn to make fresh pasta or a proper ribollita, the Tuscan bread soup, with our private chef, and bring the recipes home.
Float over the hills of Chianti. In autumn the landscape below turns to deep greens, golds and rust.
Ride the quiet trails that run along the woods and fields, with stables in the villages close by.
Paths start right from the estate and wind through the woods and hills. Head out whenever the mood strikes.
Our week falls in black truffle season. Walk the woods with a truffle hunter and his dogs and see what they turn up.
Spend an afternoon tasting the wines of the surrounding hills, right in the middle of harvest season.
Add-on experiences are priced separately and paid when you reserve them. Change your mind before you travel? Just tell us and we'll adjust your plans.

Every price covers all seven nights: your apartment, breakfast, lunch and dinner every day, your cooking class and your mini portrait session. Apartments are reserved in the order they're booked.
Private apartments
Complete privacy. A one-bedroom apartment no one else shares, with your own front door, bedroom, bathroom, living room and kitchen. Close the door and the rest of the world disappears.

Shared, private apartments
Travel with your favorite people and keep them close. Each apartment has a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. Ulivo, Cipresso and Torretta have two full bathrooms. Girasole and Salvia have one full bathroom and a powder room, and cost less.
The whole apartment is yours. It belongs to your group for the week and stays completely private. Come as three or four.

Shared apartment + bedrooms
Come on your own and find your people. There are two houses: a Women's House and a Men's House. Everyone staying in a house is the same gender, and each bedroom has a full bathroom of its own, either en-suite or just outside the door. You'll share the kitchen and living room, and choose exactly where you sleep on the floor plan: the private room with the double bed, just you or the two of you, or one of the two single beds in the shared room.

All at once · no fee
Pay the full price of your apartment or bed when you reserve, with any debit or credit card. There is no fee, and your stay is completely taken care of.

Excursions, portraits, video and transfers are chosen after you book and paid for when you reserve them. See the timeline below.
Payment plan · $250 fee
Pay half of your booking plus a $250 payment plan fee when you reserve. The other half is due by Wednesday 1 September 2027, and we'll send you a reminder before then.
For example, a $3,950 private room for two is $2,225 today ($1,975 plus the $250 fee) and $1,975 by September 1.
Launch weekend: the $250 fee is waived when you reserve by Monday 26 October, 11:59pm ET. That private room for two would be $1,975 today.
Reserving on or after 1 September 2027? Payment in full is due when you book. The payment plan fee is non-refundable.
Over time · no fee
Open the Affirm app and ask to pay over time for the amount of your booking. Once you're approved, pay in full at our checkout with your Affirm Card, then pay Affirm back monthly on the plan you choose. We don't add a fee.

Because we reserve the entire estate, our chef and our vendors for you well ahead of time, payments are non-refundable. If your plans change, your place may be transferred to another adult at our discretion. We strongly recommend travel insurance. Everything is set out in our Terms and Conditions.
From booking to Tuscany
Choose where you'll stay and reserve it in full, with the payment plan, or with Affirm.
We'll reach out to customize your experience: the excursions you'd love, a Full Experience portrait session, video coverage, and whether you'd like us to arrange a private transfer from the airport or you'd rather rent a car.
Fly into Florence or Pisa, arriving Monday 20 September. For the fullest protection, buy travel insurance within 14 days of your first retreat payment, then add your airfare and extras to the policy as you book them.
If you chose the payment plan, your remaining balance is due by Wednesday 1 September 2027. Any experiences you add are paid for when you reserve them.
Flights from the US cross overnight. Leave on Sunday 19 September and land the next day, or fly out Friday night, land on Saturday and spend a couple of days in Florence, Rome or another city before making your way to the villa.
Check in at the villa on Monday 20 September, receive your personal itinerary built around your choices, and kick back. The rest of the week is yours.
Getting around
The estate sits in the countryside between Florence and Siena. Fly into Florence or Pisa, then choose how you'd like to arrive. Everything below is an easy day trip.
Rent a car at the airport, drive to the villa, and explore Tuscany on your own schedule all week.
Add a private transfer from Pisa or Florence airport and we'll bring you straight to the door. Available for an additional fee.
Airfare is not included in the cost of the Tuscan Experience.

Prices are in US dollars for seven nights of accommodation, meals by our private chef, a cooking class and a mini portrait session, Monday 20 to Monday 27 September 2027. Airfare and airport transfers are not included. The local tourist tax is included. Payments are non-refundable and may be transferred to another adult at our discretion.
